Boschetti, Vania ReginaTrevisam, KleberTrevisam, Kleber2023-05-092023-05-092010https://repositorio.uniso.br/handle/uniso/500Esta dissertação de mestrado procurou traçar a trajetória do curso de Educação Física em Sorocaba, desde a sua abertura como Escola de Educação Física até os dias atuais como Faculdade de Educação Física da ACM; assim, o presente estudo teve como objetivo, a busca das relações entre as particularidades da instituição estudada e a sociedade sorocabana. Buscaram-se nas consultas à legislação específica, jornais da época, arquivos pessoais de ex-alunos e revisão bibliográfica as fontes que pudessem auxiliar na investigação acerca do seu passado. Conclui-se que houve o “mérito”, não se deve negar, da direção da Organização Sorocaba de Ensino e Cultura (OSEC) em vislumbrar um cenário em que a promulgação do decreto regulamentando a atuação profissional no ensino básico, resultou na valorização daqueles que possuíam a formação superior, associado ao desenvolvimento econômico da cidade e aumento na demanda de profissionais para atuar na escola. Por outro lado, observou-se também que o vislumbre encontrou suas dificuldades, por iniciar um curso superior sem instalações próprias. Neste ponto é inegável a importância da ACM na manutenção sua em Sorocaba, que só aceitou o desafio por encontrar na sua estrutura reais condições para sua manutenção além de vislumbrar também um modo de conseguir destaque entre as outras ACMs existentes.This dissertation try to trace the trajectory of the Physical Education course in Sorocaba, since its opening as the School of Physical Education to the present day as the College of Physical Education of the YMCA; the aim of this study was search for relationships between the particularities of the institution and Sorocaba's society. Researching the specific legislation, newspapers of the time, personnel files of former students and reviewing the biographical sources helped in the investigation about his history. It is concluded that the direction of the Organization of Education and Culture Sorocaba (OSEC) had your "merit", should not be denied, by the envision a scenario where the promulgation of the decree regulating the professional practice in primary education increased the importance for those who had the higher education, associated with the city's economic development and the increased demand for professionals in the school. On the oder hand, there was also that the glimpse found their difficulties, by begins a university course without their own premises.
