Boschetti, Vania ReginaGuimarães, Erilane de SouzaGuimarães, Erilane de Souza2023-05-092023-05-092012https://repositorio.uniso.br/handle/uniso/555Esta dissertação vinculada à linha de pesquisa “História e Historiografia Políticas e Práticas Escolares” do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade de Sorocaba – UNISO, faz um estudo sobre à Casa da Criança, uma instituição filantrópica, fundada em 01 de fevereiro de 1948, na cidade de Manaus, que desenvolve atividades de assistência social e ensino, para crianças carentes com idade entre dois e cinco anos. A pesquisa tem por objetivos contribuir para o acervo histórico da cidade pela identificação e registro das iniciativas e práticas educativas presentes na cidade; divulgar os saberes e fazeres difundidos por essa instituição escolar e, tornar conhecidos os benefícios associados à criação, implantação e consolidação institucional. A pesquisa está direcionada à releitura da organização sócio-histórica-cultural da Casa da Criança, realizada mediante procedimentos de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Levanta a hipótese que, mesmo com surtos econômicos significativos, a população carente local não se beneficiou como seria de direito, do acesso à educação. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa foram utilizados como recursos materiais iconográficos da instituição, organização e sistematização das informações obtidas para produção do texto final, consulta de documentos institucionais e municipais extraídas evidências, indícios e pistas referentes às práticas escolares da instituição. Como procedimento metodológico a pesquisa pode contar também com entrevistas de funcionários e ex-funcionários, dando concretude a ela pela sua natureza descritiva e analítica. A partir dos estudos da cultura escolar, foi possível analisar as informações conflituosas ou não, de cada período da sua história enquanto instituição filantrópica. Para Julia (2001) cultura escolar é um conjunto de normas que se define através dos conhecimentos a serem ensinados e de condutas de pesquisa a serem refletidas. Por isso a pesquisa buscou a uma leitura diversificada: filantropia, historiografia, legislação, cidadania, infância, instituições escolares, socialização e outras que forneceram as dimensões educacionais do ensino no Brasil. Como resultado apresenta uma referência material organizada para a valorização das práticas escolares desenvolvidas em Manaus, além de demonstrar a história e a memória da educação regional, seus saberes e fazeres sócio-histórico-culturais, a partir da pesquisa científica.This dissertation, linked to the research line "History and Historiography school policies and practices", of the Post-Graduate Program of the Education Course University of Sorocaba - UNISO, makes a study of the Casa da Criança, a philanthropic institution founded on February the 1st, 1948, in Manaus, which builds social assistance and education for children aged between two and five years. The research aims to contribute to the historical collection of the city for the registration and identification of educational initiatives and practices present in the city; disseminate the knowledge and practices disseminated by the educational institution, and make known the benefits associated with the creation, implementation and institutional consolidation. The research is directed to the rereading of socio-historicalcultural organization of Casa da Criança, held by literature procedures and documentation. For both, were used as resources: iconographic materials and video of the institution, organization and systematization of information obtained for the production of the final text, consult documents institutional and municipal – extracted evidence, evidence and clues regarding school practices of the institution. As a methodological approach, to research could also rely on interviews of employees and former employees, giving strength to it by its descriptive and analytical nature. From the studies of school culture, it was possible to analyze the conflicting information or not from each period of its history as a philanthropic institution. To Julia (2001), school culture is a set of rules that defines through the knowledge to be taught and to inculcate behavior. Therefore, the research sought a diverse reading: philanthropy, historiography, law, citizenship, childhood, educational institutions, socialization, and others, which provided the educational dimensions of teaching in Brazil. As a result, it presents an organized material references to the valuation of the school practices developed in Manaus, in addition to preserving the history and the memory of the regional education, their socio-historical-cultural knowledge and practices and the increasing of the scientific production, which will play the role of the theoretical background for academic papers and areas related to Education.Educação - História - Manaus (AM)Prática de ensino - Manaus (AM)Dissertação
