Foi utilizado o método de pesquisa descritiva com a finalidade de examinar os efeitos causados pelo abandono afetivo e material dos pais durante a infância dos filhos, partindo de uma revisão bibliográfica composta pelos principais autores e juristas da área, traçando uma linha de entendimento para definir e resolver os problemas trazidos com o tema proposto. O trabalho analisará a importância do princípio da dignidade da pessoa humana, princípio da solidariedade recíproca e do princípio da afetividade nas relações familiares. Para isso, será necessária uma pesquisa documental, utilizando-se de jurisprudência, leis, doutrinas, artigos. Através desta metodologia, será possível realizar o estudo dos impactos que o abandono afetivo e material poderá causar na sociedade.The objective of this work is to analyze and understand the impacts caused by affective abandonment and family material in society, based on the opinion of judges and scholars such as studies of manuals, scientific articles and jurisprudence. A descriptive research method was used in order to examine the effects caused by emotional and material abandonment by parents during their children's childhood, based on a bibliographical review composed of the main authors and jurists in the area, tracing a line of understanding to define and solve the problems brought with the proposed theme. The work will analyze the importance of the principle of human dignity, the principle of reciprocal solidarity and the principle of affectivity in family relationships. For this, a documental research will be necessary, using jurisprudence, laws, doctrines, articles.
