Para conhecer como vivem no cotidiano universitário e quais os sentidos construídos para essa experiência, adotamos como metodologia de pesquisa as entrevistas semi-estruturadas e optamos pela não gravação das conversas, para obtermos as falas mais espontâneas possíveis, nesse encontro face a face, entre as participantes da pesquisa em interação com a pesquisadora, também mulher negra. Tendo em vista que quatro das entrevistadas são originárias de famílias pobres e negras, buscamos apreender quais as estratégias utilizadas por essas mulheres para adentrarem e permanecerem nesse espaço seletivo que tem sido o ensino superior para as mulheres negras. Constatamos que no cotidiano das mulheres negras que fizeram parte desse estudo, há a interferência de discursos historicamente construídos sobre a mulher negra brasileira, sobre a sua raça, sua classe social, incidindo sobre as práticas discursivas que produzem os sentidos para a naturalização de sua baixa frequência no ensino superior. No entanto, esta interferência também tem servido como norteadora para algumas delas se conscientizarem de suas condições e assumirem posturas políticas e éticas em favor não só de causas próprias, mas também que favoreçam outros grupos marginalizados. Ao mesmo tempo em que a circulação de mulheres negras na academia tem gerado estranhamento aos alunos (as) não negros (as), sua presença em salas de aulas, como docentes ou discentes, tem propiciado a condição para o questionamento de concepções sobre o gênero, raça e seus desdobramentos como o racismo, o sexismo, a discriminação, o preconceito e a exclusão. A conscientização da situação vivenciada por essas mulheres, negras e pobres, leva a uma insatisfação constante e consequentemente a uma necessidade de mudança, de busca por alternativas que propiciem a transformação dessa realidade.This work investigates the trajectory of five black women, chosen from its phenotypic traits and circulating around universities in the city of Sorocaba - SP, in the period from 2005 to 2010. In order to know how they live in their university routine and what are the meanings constructed for this experiment, we adopted as a research methodology semi-structured interviews and we chose not recording the conversations, to obtain the most possible spontaneous speech, in this face to face meeting between the research participants in interaction with the researcher, also a black woman. Considering that four of the interviewed originated from poor black families and trying to understand what were the strategies used by them to step into and remain in this selective space, which has been the higher education for black women. We noticed that in the routine of black women that were part of this study there is an interference from historically constructed discourses about Brazilian black woman about their race, , their social class focusing on the discursive practices that produce the senses to the naturalization of their low frequency in higher education. However, this interference has also served as the guideline for some of them, become aware of their conditions and take political and ethical attitudes toward, not only their proper causes, but also to encourage other marginalized groups. At the same time the movement of black woman in academia has generated strangeness to non-black students, their presence in the classroom, as a teacher or student, has provided the condition for the questioning of conceptions about gender, race and its consequences as racism, sexism, discrimination, prejudice and exclusion.
