Com esta pergunta inicial, a presente tese de doutorado tem por objetivo realizar a reflexão em torno do processo formativo e seu desenvolvimento profissional do discente de Educação Física, na Faculdade de Educação Física da ACM de Sorocaba (FEFISO). Como principais referenciais teóricos para o entendimento das narrativas ficcionais presentes, na compreensão do cotidiano e na formação profissional encontram-se os estudos de Peter Spink, Marcos Reigota e Paulo Freire, pois, a partir deles, o refletir sobre o processo formativo do discente no qual a observação do seu cotidiano dentro do ambiente escolar, o olhar e o ouvir do pesquisador se fazem sempre presentes, seja nas lembranças enquanto discente ou enquanto professor. Nas buscas por respostas, estas não são obtidas a partir de entrevistas, formulários ou qualquer outro meio formal, mas, sim, por meio das narrativas decorrentes de encontros informais nos espaços comuns da faculdade, em momentos de sala de aula, quando há posicionamento deles diante de algum fato, e que revelam aspectos particulares deles próprios. De maneira que, ao seu final, a partir da tecitura das respostas às questões iniciais, o “ser professor”, tanto do autor como dos seus alunos, pode ser compreendido a partir das análises presentes no cotidiano da instituição em questão.How does one become what he is? With this initial question, the present doctoral thesis aims to reflect on the formative process and its professional development of Physical Education students, at the Physical Education Faculty of ACM in Sorocaba (FEFISO). The main theoretical references for the understanding of the fictional narratives present, in the understanding of daily life and professional training, are the studies of Peter Spink, Marcos Reigota, and Paulo Freire, since, from them, reflecting on the student's training process in which the observation of your daily life in the school environment, the look and hearing of the researcher are always present, whether in the memories as a student or as a teacher. In the search for answers, these are not obtained from interviews, forms, or any other formal means, but, rather, through narratives resulting from informal meetings in the common spaces of the college, in moments of the classroom, when they are positioned in the face of some fact, and that reveal aspects of themselves.
