A pesquisa propõe-se a contribuir com aportes que possibilitem uma melhor compreensão dos valores que permeiam os princípios políticos das mulheres e suas ações estratégicas na luta pela educação e pela permanência de seus filhos (as) no campo. A pesquisa abordará a compreensão desta questão por parte de um grupo de mulheres que participaram desse processo de conquista da terra e da luta pela construção e melhoria da Escola Fazenda São Bento, em Mirante do Paranapanema Os dados empíricos foram obtidos através de documentos, fotos da Escola e do IV Encontro Estadual de Mulheres Assentadas e Quilombolas do Estado de São Paulo, resumos dos Encontros Estaduais, relatos das assentadas e de alguns funcionários do Instituto de Terras do Estado de São Paulo em visitas, análise de documentos e relatos. Pudemos concluir que a preocupação com as crianças, jovens e adultos permeia o Movimento de Mulheres sendo a Educação a forma de viabilizar as áreas de assentamentos conquistadas com a permanência de seus filhos no campo. Estes relatos e documentos retratam a luta da mulher para a construção de uma sociedade mais justa, solidária, igualitária, a conquista da dignidade e da auto-estima dos trabalhadores rurais.The present study it is placed among those who investigate the political participation of woman in the Brazilian rural area and fight for education, with the aim to verify which are the strategies of women endeavor the inside the settlements in São Paulo State. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the approaches that make it possible a better understanding of the values that imply political principles of the women and strategic actions in the fight for schooling and permanence of their children in the field. The research will approach the understanding of this question and is related to the a group of women who have participated in the process of land conquering and their struggle for the construction and improvement of Farm School São Bento, in Mirante of Paranapanema. The empirical data have been gotten through documents, School's photos and from the IV State Setted Women's Meeting and Quilombolas of São Paulo State, summaries of the State Meetings, reports of setted women and some employees of the Land Institute of the e of São Paulo State, through document visit analysis and reports, we could conclude that the concern about their children, youth and the adults involve the Women's Movement and Education as way to make viable the conquered areas of settlements and the stay of their children in the field.
