Para tanto, ampara-se nas ideias de Flusser, Marcondes Filho, Lotman, Schafer, Contrera, Baitello Júnior, Wulf, entre outros, com os quais se estabelece uma comunicação dialógica, polifônica. O objeto deste estudo ampara-se no trabalho realizado pela “FundaMusical Bolívar”, uma fundação venezuelana, que há 37 anos, vem mudando a vida de milhares de jovens por meio da música. Com o objetivo de mostrar a metamorfose social ocorrida na Venezuela, passa-se por uma detalhada análise descritiva e apoiada ainda na aferição da criação dos vínculos comunicativos, os quais fazem – e esta é a questão basilar do projeto - com que crianças expostas aos riscos sociais alcancem a excelência, e até mesmo a mitificação. Deste modo, são abordados os temas da música como linguagem, cultura e comunicação; o trânsito entre as culturas, ou seja, as trocas culturais; o histórico do projeto El Sistema, seu funcionamento, seu papel social e a formação de vínculos comunicativos entre os seus participantes e a comunidade; o funcionamento da Orquestra Sinfônica Simón Bolívar da Venezuela como mimese cultural, na qual se torna um ideal de vida a ser alcançado e, finalmente, o maestro Gustavo Dudamel como um mito midiático, oriundo da sua atuação junto a El Sistema. Assim, a metodologia utilizada contempla a pesquisa bibliográfica, a descrição histórica, a consulta a fontes como sites e documentários, a pesquisa observatória e participativa, contemplando visita ao projeto em sua turnê pelo Brasil e seu cotidiano na Venezuela, incluindo-se o ministrar aula de Oboé a um dos núcleos e entrevistas com os participantes e dirigentes.This research has as objective to assess musical language as a mean of communication, materialized through processes of social and cultural transformations in communities in Venezuela. For so, it is supported by ideas from Flusser, Marcondes Filho, Lotman, Schafer, Contrera, Baitello Júnior, Wulf, among others, with whom is established a dialogical, polyphonic communication.. The object of this study is supported by the work performed by “FundaMusical Bolívar”, a Venezuelan foundation, which, for 37 years, has been changing the lives of thousands of youngsters through music. With the purpose of showing the social metamorphosis occurred in Venezuela, this study goes through a detailed descriptive analysis, even backed up by the measurement of creation of communication bonds, which make – and this is the fundamental matter of the project – children exposed to social risks reach excellence, and even mystification. In this way, the themes addressed are: the music as language, culture and communication; the transit among cultures, in other words, the cultural exchanges; the history of El Sistema project, its operation, social role and the formation of communication bonds among its participants and the community; the work of Simón Bolívar Symphonic Orchestra in Venezuela as cultural mimesis, in which it becomes an ideal of life to be reached and, finally, conductor Gustavo Dudamel as a media myth, created by his performance in El Sistema. Therefore, the methodology used includes bibliographical research, historical description, consultation to sources such as websites and documentary films, observatory and participatory research, involving a visit to the project during its tour in Brazil and its everyday life in Venezuela, including giving oboe classes to one of the centers, and interviews with the participants and leaders.Música - Aspectos sociaisMimese na arteComunicação e culturaDissertação
