O problema de pesquisa foi definido envolvendo a literatura infantil como subsídio para abordar o despertar do senso moral em crianças. Tendo como hipótese que a literatura é um caminho fértil para a reflexão da ética no convívio social, parece importante analisar as obras do acervo do Programa Nacional Biblioteca da Escola (PNBE), que são recebidas pelas escolas. Portanto esta pesquisa teve como objetivo apresentar reflexões sobre a construção da ética no cotidiano escolar e o “sensibilizar-se” por meio da análise de livros de literatura infantil do PNBE de 2014. Do acervo disponível em uma escola do interior de São Paulo, foram selecionados livros que abordam questões éticas, que apresentam relações com autoridade, com pares e consigo mesmo, mostrando que por meio das relações interpessoais, é possível desenvolver a construção de valores. Após a análise de conteúdo dos livros, os resultados apontam para uma maior quantidade de histórias com relações de autoridade quando comparadas às relações com pares e consigo mesmo; e uma maior representatividade de personagens de etnia branca. Porém de maneira geral os livros analisados estão adequados à construção da ética apresentando sentimentos que podem contribuir para o “despertar do senso moral” como o respeito ao outro, o amor, a empatia e a generosidade.The theme of this dissertation is about the ethical construction in children's daily school life, and the research problem was defined involving children's literature as a subsidy to address the awakening of moral sense in children. Based on the hypothesis that literature is a fertile way for the reflection of ethics in social life, it seems important to analyze the works received by the schools from the collection of the National Library of the School Program (PNBE). Therefore, this research had as objective to present reflections on the construction of the ethics in the daily school life, the "sensitization", through the analysis of children's books of the PNBE of 2014. Of the collection available in a school in the interior of São Paulo, Were selected books with ethical questions, which have relations with authority, with peers and with himself, showing that through interpersonal relationships, it is possible to develop the construction of values. After analyzing the contents of the books, the results point to a greater quantity of stories with relations of authority when compared to the relations with others and with oneself; And greater representativeness of white ethnic characters.
