Dentro deste contexto a pesquisa trabalha na elaboração da metodologia da Cartografia Imagética e Ciência Decolonial, explorando a aplicação de seus conceitos na compreensão das diversas realidades e implicações culturais, o que se define no conceito de Terceira Realidade. O objetivo da pesquisa ao explorar e desenvolver a metodologia da cartografia imagética em consonância com a teoria decolonial elabora o conceito de Terceira Realidade, na perspectiva de abordar a diversidade e suas convergências como utopia possível de compreensão e convivência comunitária dentro das diversas realidades existentes em um mesmo espaço, tempo e contexto; confluindo em uma nova maneira de nos comunicarmos com a complexidade das relações socioculturais. Outros objetivos são explorados para a definição da metodologia, explorando a investigação do pensamento decolonial, a luta contra o eurocentrismo, definição do conceito do pesquisador na figura do Agrimensor-Flâneur e apresentação de alternativas de pesquisas futuras para testar e explorar a cartografia imagética junto ao conceito de terceira realidade. A fundamentação teórica tangencia o eurocentrismo com Boaventura, Benjamin, Rancière, Debord e Belting, que são transformadas nos teóricos decoloniais para responderem as perspectivas do Sul, a exemplo de Bispo dos Santos, bell hooks, Paulo Freire e Frantz Fanon. Nesta constelação intelectual que inserimos a fundamentação da pesquisa para formatar as questões dentro das epistemologias do Sul, ciência decolonial, cartografia crítica, consciência das estruturas de opressão do colonialismo e eurocentrismo, e conceitos de igualdade e transformação social a partir da reflexão sobre poder, diversidade e emancipação. Estes pensadores, teorias e conceitos interligados são a base e orientação da pesquisa para realizar um pensamento crítico sobre as possibilidades e alternativas de sociedade inclusiva e efetivas transformações das realidades culturais e sociais. O percurso metodológico inicia com a fenomenologia e a etnologia, no desenvolvimento do trabalho vão se transformando e construindo percursos na confluência de saberes através de leitura atenta e reflexiva principalmente dos autores decoloniais, nas possibilidades de aplicação prática de seus princípios, para se transformarem nas concepções da cartografia imagética e ciência decolonial. Nessa transformação epistemológica que estamos propondo a cartografia imagética e a terceira realidade se mostram mais que uma metodologia e um conceito, elas se configuram em uma forma de pensamento e ação, estimulando o diálogo entre diferentes áreas do conhecimento, integrando a diversidade cultural, a empatia, a ação concreta de resistência e as utopias possíveis e revolucionárias.The thesis contributes to the investigation of the intersection between images, knowledge and cultures, proposing an inclusive and critical approach, of social transformation and reflection on issues of power in colonialism and Eurocentrism, in diversity and possibilities of emancipation. Within this context, the research works on the elaboration of the methodology of Image Cartography and Decolonial Science, exploring the application of its concepts in understanding the different realities and cultural implications, which is defined in the concept of Third Reality. The objective of the research, by exploring and developing the methodology of imagery cartography in line with decolonial theory, elaborates the concept of Third Reality, from the perspective of approaching diversity and its convergences as a possible utopia of understanding and community coexistence within the diverse realities existing in a same space, time and context; converging in a new way of communicating with the complexity of sociocultural relationships. Other objectives are explored to define the methodology, exploring the investigation of decolonial thinking, the fight against Eurocentrism, defining the concept of the researcher in the figure of the AgrimensorFlâneur and presenting alternatives for future research to test and explore image cartography alongside the concept of third reality. The theoretical foundation touches on Eurocentrism with Boaventura, Benjamin, Rancière, Debord and Belting, who are transformed into decolonial theorists to respond to Southern perspectives, such as Bispo dos Santos, bell hooks, Paulo Freire and Frantz Fanon. In this intellectual constellation that we insert the research foundation to format the questions within the epistemologies of the South, decolonial science, critical cartography, awareness of the structures of oppression of colonialism and Eurocentrism, and concepts of equality and social transformation based on reflection on power, diversity and emancipation. These interconnected thinkers, theories and concepts are the basis and guidance of research to carry out critical thinking about the possibilities and alternatives for an inclusive society and effective transformations of cultural and social realities. The methodological path begins with phenomenology and ethnology, in the development of the work they transform and build paths in the confluence of knowledge through careful and reflective reading mainly of decolonial authors, in the possibilities of practical application of their principles, to transform into conceptions of image cartography and decolonial science.
