| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo discute o uso de criptomoedas no ambiente empresarial brasileiro, considerando os avanços e as limitações da regulação vigente. A partir de uma revisão de literatura realizada no Portal CAPES/CAFe, foram reunidos estudos recentes que abordam aspectos jurídicos, tributários e institucionais relacionados aos criptoativos. A análise evidencia que, apesar do Marco Legal dos Criptoativos (Lei nº 14.478/2022) ter representado um passo importante, ainda existem inúmeros pontos em aberto, como definições regulatórias, práticas de supervisão e diretrizes de compliance. Observou-se também que a descentralização característica das criptomoedas amplia tanto as possibilidades de inovação quanto o risco de ilícitos financeiros. Os trabalhos levantados mostram que empresas interessadas em utilizar ou aceitar criptoativos precisam compreender não apenas o funcionamento tecnológico, mas também as exigências legais que estão em constante atualização. A revisão permite concluir que o tema permanece em desenvolvimento e exige pesquisas adicionais capazes de acompanhar o ritmo acelerado das transformações normativas e do mercado digital. | pt |
| dc.description.abstract | The present article examines the use of cryptocurrencies within the Brazilian business environment, considering the regulatory, technological, and institutional challenges that shape their adoption. Based on a literature review conducted through the CAPES/CAFe Portal, the study gathered recent publications addressing legal, tax, compliance, and governance aspects related to cryptoassets. The analysis shows that, although the Cryptoassets Legal Framework (Law nº 14.478/2022) has marked an important regulatory milestone, significant gaps remain regarding supervisory practices, legal definitions, and the responsibilities of service providers. The decentralized nature of cryptocurrencies simultaneously expands opportunities for innovation and exposes companies to financial, operational, and cyber risks. The findings underline that organizations interested in using or investing in cryptoassets must understand not only the underlying digital technology but also the evolving regulatory obligations that govern this market. The review concludes that the topic is still under development and requires further research capable of accompanying the rapid transformations in both the digital economy and the Brazilian legal framework. | en |
