A pesquisa é feita com base na Constituição Federal, Direito Penal, Direito Processual Penal e a revisão bibliográfica de artigos acadêmicos. A pesquisa demonstra que, embora a IA possa trazer celeridade e mais precisão às investigações, requer regulamentação adequada para evitar a exposição da privacidade e discriminação dos investigados.The present scientific article aims to study the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in criminal investigations and to analyze how AI tools can enhance the investigative process, improving data collection and analysis, and contributing to the resolution of crimes more efficiently while respecting the fundamental rights of the investigated individuals. The research is based on the Federal Constitution, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, and a bibliographic review of academic articles.
