| dc.description.abstract | A Diabetes Mellitus se enquadra no grupo das doenças crônicas não transmissíveis, que vem aumentando no meio no meio da população do Brasil e Mundo todos os anos, trata-se de uma patologia silenciosa que não manifesta seus sintomas logo no início. Caracterizada pela falta de produção ou insuficiência de insulina, hormônio produzido nas ilhotas de Langherans pelas células beta responsável pela diminuição da glicose no sangue O paciente com diabetes mellitus tem sua vida totalmente alterada pela doença, que traz impactos psicológicos, sociais pois com ela tem-se uma nova rotina tanto com o uso de insulina, o número de “picadas” durante o dia, não poder mais ingerir certos tipos de alimentos, o emagrecimento continuo, a dificuldade na cicatrização, para um indivíduo nessas condições, surgem sentimentos como ansiedade, medo, angústia, raiva, e é preciso estar sempre em acompanhamento intermitente para que se haja a melhor assistência pautada na qualidade de vida, cuidando sempre da patologia, porém ao mesmo tempo, humanizando esse sujeito. O presente estudo tem como objetivos conhecer o impacto da Diabetes mellitus na qualidade de vida do paciente, e o papel do profissional enfermeiro na orientação ao autocuidado. Trata -se de uma revisão de escopo, onde os artigos foram selecionados nas bases de dados: SciELO e Bvsalud, utilizando a ferramenta PICO, foi construída a pergunta norteadora do trabalho “qual a importância do profissional enfermeiro frente a orientação ao autocuidado do paciente diabético?” Como critério de inclusão utilizamos: o artigo para o estudo ter sido publicado entre os anos de janeiro de 2016 a outubro de 2022; estudos nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol; Os estudos captados que responderão à pergunta norteadora serão lidos na integra, já aqueles cujo resumo e introdução não atendiam a proposta de pesquisa fora. Pode-se perceber a grande incidência de Diabetes mellitus na população, sendo assim, no futuro será uma das grandes causas de cegueira e amputações. A enfermagem vem ganhando espaço no cuidado e orientações aos pacientes diabéticos. | pt |
| dc.description.abstract | Diabetes Mellitus is part of the group of non-communicable chronic diseases, which has been increasing in the middle of the population of Brazil and the world every year, it is a silent pathology that does not manifest its symptoms at the beginning. The present study aims to understand the impact of Diabetes mellitus on the patient's quality of life, and the role of the professional nurse in guiding self-care. This is a scope review, where the articles were selected from the following databases: SciELO and Bvsalud, using the PICO tool, the guiding question of the work was built "what is the importance of the nurse professional in the orientation of the diabetic patient's self-care ?” As inclusion criteria we used: the article for the study was published between the years of January 2016 to October 2022; studies in Portuguese, English and Spanish; The studies captured that will answer the guiding question will be read in full, while those whose abstract and introduction did not meet the research proposal outside.
