| dc.description.abstract | Este estudo desenvolveu um exame sobre a leitura do aluno em ambiente escolar. Considerando-se que a leitura exerce um papel fundamental na formação e desenvolvimento do indivíduo, e que é discurso corrente na sociedade, nos meios escolares e na mídia; que o estudante, de modo geral, não sabe ler, ou ainda, que não interpreta o que lê e, em consequência, não consegue escrever em situações que clamam por letramento, não tendo capacidade de agir e intervir em contextos diversos, foi observada a necessidade de um estudo sobre produções científicas referentes à temática leitura. O objetivo do estudo foi diagnosticar como se encontra a prática leitora do aluno: as formas como lê e o que lê, bem como a relação da leitura com a constituição do conhecimento do indivíduo. Através de investigação empírica e bibliográfica, foi procedida a análise de concepções que fazem parte da prática pedagógica existentes na formação do estudante. A partir daí, foram indicados possíveis caminhos de superação de problemas detectados. Concluiu-se com a pesquisa que o que norteia as práticas escolares hoje é uma concepção, em maior escala, lúdica, justificada muitas vezes pela familiaridade do aluno em relação aos suportes textuais. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This study seeks to make an inventory of studies that have been produced in the fields of science, within the academic environment, about reading. Moreover, we examine the role of reading regarding the constitution of knowledge in the school environment. Considering the role of reading an essential one for the individuals’ development, and also taking into consideration that it has being said in and out the school walls that students, in general, can hardly read or make an interpretation of what is read, and, as a result, he cannot write, that person will not be able to deal with different situations in life that demand clear reading and writing. Therefore, the aim of this study was to produce a diagnosis of the present situation of the reading practice among Brazilian students: the ways they read, what they read, and the connection between what they are reading and personal knowledge building. We aimed to investigate, both empirically and bibliographically, the different concepts of reading. From the results obtained, we indicate some possible ways to improve on the existing problems. | eng |
